How it works
How the favicon grabber works
- 1
Enter a domain
Any page on the site works; we look up the brand behind its domain.
- 2
We pick the best icon
Touch icons, manifest icons, SVG favicons and ICO files are compared, and the sharpest square mark wins.
- 3
Download at the size you need
Take the original, or a PNG resized by the logo CDN to exactly the size your interface uses.
At scale
Use the API instead
Showing icons next to links, bookmarks or companies? Point an <img> at the logo CDN with the domain and the size you want. It works without a key for indexed brands, needs no attribution, and you may cache the files yourself.

Questions
Is this better than a favicon service?
A plain favicon service returns whatever 16 or 32 pixel file the site declares. We compare every icon the site publishes, prefer vector and high-resolution sources, and trim the padding, so the icon stays sharp at large sizes.
Can I hotlink the icon URLs?
Yes, and you can also fetch them server-side, cache them and serve them from your own storage. There is no attribution requirement on any plan.
What sizes and formats are available?
The logo CDN resizes on request with ?size=, and converts with ?format=webp, png, svg or jpeg. The original file is always available too.
Does it work for any website?
It works for any public website that answers our crawler. A first lookup crawls the site live; after that the brand is indexed and answers instantly.
