Brand Identity API vs Brandfetch

A Brandfetch alternative: same JSON, a fraction of the price

We kept the field names of Brandfetch's Brand API on purpose, so code written against it works with ours. What we changed is the price and the terms.

As of October 2026, 10,000 lookups a month cost $396 to $516 at Brandfetch and $39 at Brand Identity API, and on Brand Identity API you may cache what you fetch for as long as you like.

Which to pick

When each one fits

Both can be the right answer. Here is how we would decide.

Choose Brandfetch if

  • You need the largest curated index, including brands whose owners maintain their own profile.
  • You buy enterprise datasets or need a contract with custom terms.
  • You rely on Brandfetch products beyond the Brand API and Logo Link.

Choose Brand Identity API if you want

  • The same field names, so an integration moves over with a base URL change.
  • Unused lookups roll over to the next month and never expire.
  • Cache and store responses and logos forever, with no 30-day refresh rule.
  • Fetch logos from your server, with no referrer check.
  • Dark-mode logo variants generated for single-color marks, tagged so you can tell.
