How it works
How the brand color extractor works
- 1
Enter a domain
Paste a URL or type a domain. The tool looks up the brand behind it.
- 2
We read the brand, not the screenshot
Colors come from the logo artwork and the site's own theme, then get a role: accent, dark, light or brand.
- 3
Copy the value you need
Select a swatch to copy its HEX code, or copy the RGB and HSL values beside it.

Use the API instead
Theming a product for each customer, or coloring cards in a directory? The Brand API returns the same palette as JSON, with each color's role and brightness, so your code can pick readable text on top.

Questions
How are the brand colors chosen?
We combine the colors in the brand's logo with the theme colors its website declares, merge near-duplicates and give each a role. The accent is the color the brand is recognized by.
What do accent, dark and light mean?
Accent is the signature color. Dark and light are the colors the brand uses for text and backgrounds. Brand covers any other color that belongs to the identity.
Can I get the colors as JSON?
Yes: every Brand API response includes a colors array with hex, type and brightness for each color. The free plan includes 50 brand lookups, with no card.
Why does a color look slightly different from the website?
Sites often tint or shade their brand color for hover states and backgrounds. We keep the base color, which is the one you want for a swatch or a theme.
